Their love for scaling the peak inspired an adventurous yet relaxing spatial experience
Inspired by the couple love for hiking, we translated the excitement and intimacy of adventure into an everyday, livable space.
Paying homage to the couple’s passion, we injected elements of the vast mountains in their home. We designed the shoe cabinet at the foyer to resemble a mountain to give house a peak of its own.
The staggered brick wall in the living room was designed to resemble the gentle slope of the mountain, and the lush, vertical greenery adds a touch of relaxing nature.
Like the wide and vast scenery at the mountain peak, the narrow foyer opens up to a wide living space where the dry kitchen, dining, study, and balcony were connected to create one big spatial experience.
