PALETTE

Location: Towner Road
Where simplicity embraces playfulness

Envisioned as a blank white canvas, this home begins with restraint — allowing space, light, and personality to slowly unfold within it. A clean, neutral base sets the tone, creating clarity and calmness from the moment one steps inside. Against this quiet backdrop, subtle hints of colour are introduced thoughtfully into each corner, like gentle brushstrokes that bring the space to life.

The result is playful yet composed, expressive yet balanced.

The layout embraces openness. Designed as an open-plan environment, the living, dining, and communal areas flow seamlessly into one another, encouraging connection and shared moments. This openness enhances natural light penetration, making the home feel airy and expansive. Textural layering — from soft furnishings to tactile finishes — adds warmth and depth, ensuring the minimalist foundation never feels stark.

Tucked neatly into a corner, the study is concealed behind a sliding glass door. This thoughtful intervention allows the space to function privately when needed, while still welcoming natural light to filter through. It maintains visual continuity within the home, reinforcing the idea of transparency and flexibility.

A playful touch of terracotta frames the common bathroom door, complemented by a circular glass pattern that subtly distinguishes it for visitors. This small yet intentional detail becomes both functional and decorative — adding character while guiding movement intuitively.

Lighting throughout is kept minimal overhead, relying instead on ambient sources to create a soft, cosy glow. The home feels warm, intimate, and lived-in.

More than just a design statement, the space reflects the joyful personality of its owner and marks a new beginning — a nurturing, light-filled sanctuary for a growing family of three.
